Hey Guys! Finally it is done! I’m sorry to have kept you waiting, but I wanted to make sure I took my time and really got to understand this music producing software.

I was really impressed with Dub Turbo as a music producing software. It really delivered on everything covered in the sales letter. Not only was it the most powerful piece of music producing software, it was the cheapest! Not usually how things work, but there you go.

Let’s run down our criteria and see how Dub Turbo faired compared to other music producing software.

1. Music Producing Software Must Be Easy To Use:

Dub Turbo was a dream to use. Seriously, within only one hour of using the music producing software, I was able to produce a pretty good tune. It is literally drag and drop which really makes things so quick. I usually have a bit of trouble getting the hang of music mixer software, but I didn’t have any problem here whatsoever. The video training helped, but more of that later, first lets move onto the quality of the music producing software.

2. Quality of Music from Music Producing Software

I know this is an important point of all of you, particularly those of you whose goal it is to become a professional music producer and sell the music you produce. Dub Turbo uses 44.1 Stereo, broadcast quality tunes. This is really important, because you can actually export at this quality also unlike most music producing software that compresses export into Mp3!

Not a single thing offered on Dub Turbo is Mp3. Those of you that know me, know I can’t stand Mp3 for mixing or producing music with my music producing software. Music producing software for me, must use 44.1 stereo, and Dub Turbo fulfills that requirement.

3. Samples of a Variety of Music Genres provided with the Music Producing Software

I did find a lot of okay quality music producing software in my time, but usually the samples provided were unique to a particular style of music. From electronic music production to hip hop music production to even reggae music production. It required a large expense to obtain samples from other styles and then you have to manually upload to your music producing software. However, Dub Turbo offers a multitude of styles, and really appreciated it. I have a weird sense of music. I can go from hard trance to hip hop to UB40 style reggae within a few weeks. I like to be able to play around with a multitude of styles. Though, i usually stick with electronic music production for my career and that is what I use my music producing software for mostly. However, you still want the option!

4. In Depth Training Videos on how to use the Music Producing Software

Seriously, a lot of music producing software out there’s official site send you to youtube videos made by a third party to learn how to produce music with their software! How crazy is that? Dub Turbo has some really great videos. They are enough to get you orientated with the software itself, and actually getting into producing some tunes of your own. If you are already proficient with another music producing software, it will show you how to apply your existing skills with this music mixing software.

5. Pattern Building rather than Looping Music Producing Software

I have noticed that with some cheaper music producing software, all you can really produce is a one bar looped beat. I used to think that you get what you pay for, and that I would have to fork out for Logic Pro, but seriously, Dub Turbo actually offers Pattern Building. This allows you to actually create professional tracks, rather than novelty pieces to show your friends.

6. Downloadable Music Producing Software

I have tried the free online music producing software and music mixer software, and unfortunately the quality isn’t there. Dub Turbo downloads directly to your PC, so it can be fully tapped, without being limited by bandwidth or music quality.

So Dub Turbo sounds great. However, I did find some bad points. I want to give you an unbiased review, so here are the things I didn’t like:

1. You need quite a powerful computer. I have a pretty crappy laptop that I was relegated to after my pet cockatoo destroyed the keys off my new one. I downloaded Dub Turbo and unfortunately I didn’t  have the power to run it properly.

If your computer is older than 5 years, you may have to reduce the settings to be able to use it.

2. The support center was obviously flooded because they took 48 hrs to answer my question. Granted, that is much faster than some other software, but I had just recently downloaded it (to my new laptop) and wanted to ask an urgent question.

3. There are a lot of options, and you may get confused. With your more basic, online music producing software, it is easy to jump right in. However, as Dub Turbo is designed to be an all inclusive professional music production software, you need to take your time to understand everything.

And that is really all there is on the bad side. Seriously, for the price, you can’t really go wrong with Dub Turbo. I don’t want to come across as some salesman, but I really enjoyed reviewing this software, and am still using it to this day.

Music Producing Software- What do you need?

What is it that makes the best music making programs? Before we can adequately judge whether a piece of software is good, we need to identify a specific list of criteria we wish from our music producing software so we can assess them.

Using electronic music production as an example, we can come up with the following criteria:

1. Easy to Use

Whether you are just starting out, or a guru at producing music already, you need a system that is not overly complicated to use. Music making programs need to allow you spend your time experimenting with different music  production methods, not reading manuals on how to use them.

2. Not massively expensive.

Proper music equipment for electronic music production, or hip hop or any other style of music production is extremely expensive. That was the number one reason I created Music Producing Software Info.com. I wanted to find a cheap alternative, without sacrificing on quality.

3. 16 Track Sequencer

Too much music producing software uses 8 track sequencers. These do not have anywhere near the power to produce epic quality music. I have personally made it a rule to only stick with 16 track, and to boycott any products offering 8 track. This has made it very hard to find any, but I will succeed!

4. Comprehensive Training

I think the very best music producing software should also have a built in training system to help you understand not only the basics of music production, but how to turbo charge the learning curve so you are producing new music faster than if you were learning from trial and error.

I think this is probably the most basic aspect of a good quality electronic music production course, yet very few actually include  training in every aspect of music production, rather specifying on a particular niche, such as reggae, hip hop or electronic music production.

5. A Huge Library of Existing Instruments and Effects

There is no point investing in music producing software, and it not having any instruments or effects you can start off using. While most with have your run of the mill kick, snare and bass, very few will have enough to get your music production to the level you want it to be.

I also particularly value libraries with many different genres of music. I sometimes find myself moving from creating hip hop beats to wanting to focus on electronic music production. I want my software to be flexible.

Best Music Production Software

Hi Guys,

If you are anything like me, and keen on electronic music production or mixing music, you really need good software.

I remember when I first got into music, and the concept of music production, I used to spend hours mixing different trance tracks with my Technics. As I got better at it, I started to use music mixer software to product music. I think this is a natural progression for most music enthusiasts. First you listen to it, then you start to play around with it (mixing it) and then finally you start to want to produce music.

Music producing software is available everywhere, from frooty loops to tracktion 3. In fact, Soulja Boy still uses frooty loops to produce his music. I personally find this software out dated however.

Music studio equipment can cost 10s of thousands of dollars to set up. Quite frankly, I don’t have that kind of money to throw around. Even though making music is my passion, I need software, not hardware to product music. Luckily I think I have found music producing software that is not only cheap, but very easy to use. I don’t want to give anything away just yet, but this product is starting to shape up very nicely. I think I might even upload some of the music I have been producing.

So guys, if you are really interested in finding the very best music producing software or music mixer software, bare with me and wait for my review. You will not be disappointed :) .

Hi Guys,

I’m sorry, I know you are all waiting for me review. This product is enormous, and extremely in depth. I really want to take my time to ensure I give it a fair appraisal. At the moment I am loving it, but I need some time to find any bad points.

Anyway, I wanted to speak a bit about online music producing software and studio recording software.

I don’t know about you, but whenever I use the online music recording studio, or try electronic music production, I notice that the quality of the final product is rather lack luster. I never could figure out the problem until recently. I never thought about it, but online music studio equipment uses MP3. Professional music producers use broadcast quality 44.1 stereo wav format. This makes a massive difference to the music you produce because mp3 is essentially wav with a lot of the frequencies stripped out to make them smaller. It is like the difference between mixing with LP12 and mixing with mp3, i.e. the world of difference.

Another problem is that you are limited by the speed of your internet. Music producing software must be downloadable to your computer. Again, I never noticed this until I tried out this new software package I was introduced to. I will tell you all about it in my review, I promise. Please be patient :) .

So in conclusion, is it possible to get music producing software that allows you to produce music in 44.1 stereo quality? I’m not sure yet, but I have made it my quest to find out!

Welcome to Music Producing Software Info!

Hi Guys,

A very warm welcome to you. Thank you for visiting music producing software info, for all of your producing music needs. :)

I have an absolute passion for producing dance music, and have been looking for quite some time for the very best music making programs. As you guys can relate, there are so many of them available from studio recording software to music mixer software. But, are they any good?

I have tried some of the online tools, and have found the music produced rather poor. The quality is mp3, rather than proper wav. I have been looking at some online music producing software tools, and managed to get in touch with a music producer in LA. He offered me free access to his software if I would kindly review it and put it on the internet for the rest of the world to see.

That is why I created music producing software info.com! I am currently half way through my review, and will get it to you shortly, I promise. I’m really enjoying the electronic music production module of the step by step training, but I’ll get to that later.
